The Remanufacturing/Rebuilding service at Reg-Ellen Machine Tool is based on the principle of restoring each machine to its optimum operating condition. When a machine is accepted at our facility, it is dismantled and thoroughly cleaned. Each part or assembly is scrutinized for wear, hardness and checked for dimensional accuracy. Wear items such as bushings and shafts are replaced and repair parts are installed directly from our extensive inventory. 

All sliding surfaces are first ground square and then hand fitted and oil "flaked" for maximum lubrication. The entire machine is returned to factory specifications and is the same or, in many cases, in better condition than when it left the original manufacturer.
   
As the machine is reassembled, workability, and fit are checked every step of the way. Upon completion, the machine is tested, painted and made ready for shipment to the customer. Before shipping any machine, however, the owner is requested to operate the machine at our facility to ensure satisfaction.
